HE is the runaway favourite to be crowned Scotland’s Player of the Year at the end of the season, but modest Celtic star Shunsuke Nakamura insists one of his team-mates is more deserving of the honour.

While Nakamura’s spectacular strikes and imaginative attacking displays have helped him stand out in the SPL and Europe this season, the Japanese playmaker has backed Celtic goalkeeper Artur Boruc for the award.
