Two players who definitely won’t feature against Dundee are Shunsuke Nakamura and Mark Wilson. Both are nursing knee knocks and will be monitored by the club’s medical staff.

“Naka won’t be fit for Dundee,” he said. “But we hope he’ll be okay for the AC Milan match next week. He was swimming this morning and he’s looking okay.

“He’s tweaked his knee a little bit, but we can deal with it. It’s nothing alarming and it’s the same with Mark Wilson. He’s twisted his knee and needs a rest, but Joe (Doumbe) did well when he came in on Sunday.

“We’ll have a look at Mark, but we don’t know if he’ll be fit for the Milan match.”
