Brown has spent the last week getting to know his new team-mates, including Massimo Donati, and believes Celtic will see the best of the Italian midfielder over the coming weeks.

“We’ve only been working with Massimo over the past week or so, but he looks very good on the ball in training,” said Brown.

“The language barrier is probably still a bit of a problem because he doesn’t speak much English.

“However, I reckon he’ll settle in once he’s been here for a couple of weeks and becomes familiar with how the team plays.

“Naka shows that the language doesn't have to hold you back. When Massimo learns a few of the shouts on the pitch, there shouldn’t be a problem.”
